Steppin’ Time Dancers are ready and looking forward to showcasing all their hard work from this past season with their 2023 Year End Dance Recital Week. Performances in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Hip hop, Acro, Contemporary, Stage Dance and more from all ages and levels.

Tuesday, May 23rd 6:00pm: Dancers in this recital take their regular weekly dance classes on Thursday night, Friday night and/or Saturday between 9-12:00pm.

Wednesday, May 24th 6:00pm: Dancers in this recital take their regular weekly dance classes on Wednesday night and/or Saturday between 12:00-4:30pm

Thursday, May 25th 6:00pm: Dancers in this recital take their regular weekly classes on Monday night and/or Tuesday night.

Come celebrate the Power the Music! Over 80 Steppin’ Time Company dancers ages 10-18 years performing behind and in front of a 20-foot screen at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium in Brandon, Manitoba.

Performances in silhouette that will take you through a celebration of music through the decades and powerful performances about how music influences our lives, ignites change, unites people, and helps us heal.

Join us for this unique production, as we let soul filling music, expressive dancing and breathtaking visuals take us on an unforgettable journey with, The Power of Music

Fall 2020 Update

Our small business and amazing staff would like to thank you for your support.

When the reality of this pandemic hit in March the staff at Steppin’ Time quickly adapted to the situation and made instructional videos for all our classes, started Instagram Live classes and two months of Zoom classes to complete our season.

The support we received from our dance family was incredible. Not continuing to dance was never an option. The families and staff at Steppin' Time understood how important it was to continue training. It allowed dancers to stay connected with their instructors, their friends and was extremely beneficial to our physical and mental health.

This fall Steppin’ Time will offer our full schedule in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Stage Dance, Acro and Fitness training. We pride ourselves on putting our dancers first and nurturing their love of dance.

We have already prepared our studios to adhere to social distancing rules such as larger waiting rooms, separate entrance/exits, staggered class times, including an additional 2000 square foot second location.

Our small business and amazing staff would like to thank you for your support.

Steppin' Time will be running classes in the fall and our fall registration/schedule information is ready to go. There are many protocols in place that will have the health and safety of our students and staff as a priority. If you have any questions about our fall program please contact us and we will send it out ASAP.

Steppin' Time Grads 2020

This week would of been our recital week and an opportunity to celebrate these four beautiful grads. We were going to wait until tomorrow to post this because it would have been our final Friday night recital but we are just too excited to acknowledge these amazing dancers. Thank you for all the years and memories.

Special thanks to your parents as well for all their years of support and trust. We are so grateful for it all!

Zoom Dance Party 2020

Every year, at the end our recital performances we have our finale.

This is that special moment when all our dancers are on stage celebrating our season together. The end of our season this year was different, so we decided to meet in our biggest zoom call yet. This was a dance party like no other! It was so awesome to see the dancers dressed up in their costumes, ready for a big performance. Having all these dancers together in a zoom call was so special and meant so much to everyone involved. I hope you all had as much fun as we did.

Thank you again to all our dancers and parents throughout some challenging times. We are excited and anxious to get back inside the dance studio and are getting prepared for a safe and organized return to our new normal. Fall information will be available and sent out in June.

Start Up News 2019

We are so excited to have you returning to our dance studio or joining us for the first time.

Classes start this Monday, September 9th-Saturday, September 14th

This year is sure to be filled with exciting new challenges, exams, techniques, routines, classes, friends and possibly even a new teacher for you. I hope you’re looking forward to starting because I know your teachers are. Throughout the year we will hand out and email newsletters that will explain any upcoming events, the website will also have the newsletters and schedules posted. We will also email out monthly statements.

Now that registrations have come to an end, we have had to make a few changes to which room some of the classes are taking place in. (no class times are affected)

Your studio account has been updated so any room changes have been corrected and I have resent Class Confirmations to everyone.

We do our best to have classes starting and finishing at different times, but the waiting room can get very busy. We expect and understand parents of dancer’s 7 and under to wait during your child’s class but if parents of older dancers can drop and go that would really help. If your child really wants you to stay, we completely understand.

• When arriving to the studio each week we ask that all our dancers remove their outdoor shoes and place them on the shelves provided. Parents leave their outdoor shoes on.

• Dancers will bring their dance bags into class with them, if required teachers and assistant teachers will help them change their shoes.

• Dance shoes often get lost and forgotten at the studio PLEASE WRITE YOUR DANCER’S NAME in SHOES!!! There is a lost-n-found in the change room downstairs

• There is a change room downstairs in the waiting room as well as 3 bathrooms located in Steppin’ Time.

• The office is open Monday-Thursday 10:00-4:00pm if you would like to call and speak to our receptionist Marie. 2047250745

• Parking is available on the street, the parking lot next to the studio is reserved parking owned by the City

• Studio A and B (Upstairs)

DANCE TEACHER WEB CONFERENCE & EXPO

Kristen and I are on our way to the Dance Teacher Web in Las Vegas! Excited to have four days of learning and inspiration for our 2019-2020 season of dance!

Every summer we travel to dance teacher conventions all over North America taking classes from teachers like Anthony Morigerato , Travis Wall and Stacey Tookey to name a few.

We are excited to attend Dance Teacher Web in Las Vegas this year, and to bring all the information and techniques we learn back to our studio and students!
